PROGRAMME

·  6:30 – 8:30 Entries, picking up the race bibs and T-shirts

·  8:30 – 8:45 Organizer information and SPORTident time taking system demonstration

·  9:00 – START (categories Ultra Lake and BIKE)

·  9.30 – START (category Challenger Lake)

·  10:00 – START (category Light Lake)

·  12:00 – 15:00 Arrival of the winners to the finish area

·  15:00 – Prize  giving ceremony

Lunch: upon arrival to the finish area (but not before 13:00)

Categories and course lengths:

· competitors:

o   Ultra Lake M/W, BIKE M/W : 20 – 25 km

o   Challenger Lake M/W: 12 – 15 km

· recreational:

o   Light Lake 5 km

Change of category:

On the day of the race the category can be change but only from more difficult to less difficult one. In case of category change there is no fee refund.

Rewards:

For 5 best competitors in M/W category

Maximum number of competitors per category:

100 (once the quota is full the entry is no longer available, then entry is possible for other categories)

Entries can be made only online by filling out the entry form on our website.

By entering to this competition, each competitor agrees to the following term: all participants take part at their own risk and are fully aware of the risk, also they are familiar with the rules and regulations of the event and they will follow them.

All competitors give up the right to transfer any responsibility for their actions to the organizer or any other third party.

By competing, all participants confirm that they are healthy and in appropriate psycho-physical condition and agree they will wear prescribed basic equipment.

Fee includes:

- race organization,

- T-shirt with a race logo,

- printed map,

- SI electronic time measuring,

- bib number,

- medal for all competitors,

- services of Croatian Mountain Rescue Service,

- rehydration with water on checkpoints,

- lunch after the race, 

- transportation to the finish area in case of retirement from the race,

- parking space

- ticket for the forest park Golubinjak.

Entry fee trekking:

- Late entries after July 1st are possible Entry fee for late entries is €60.

REFUND

In case of cancelling the participation on the event and notifying the organizer via e-mail torisdelnice@gmail.com  before July 15^th 2017, 50% of the entry fee amount will be refunded. After this date, entry fees for Croatia open 2017 are non-refundable.

In case of cancelling the event due to unpredictable reasons, all participants will receive 50% refund of paid entry fees. If you wish, you can then transfer the fee to competition for 2018.

EQUIPMENT

To participate in the trekking competition all competitors should dress appropriately to ensure high level of comfort and security. There are no clothing or footwear restrictions but we recommend you to choose clothes which covers your entire body with exception for head and arms.

Organizer provides:

- printed map with courses and control points,

- race bib,

- electronic time taking  system SPORTident,

- race instructions and information.

Competitor has to provide:

- compass,

- SI chip (*SI chip can be rented from the organizer),

- mobile phone 

  (save the organizer numbers, keep it switched on, enable caller ID, charge

  the battery),

- water (minimum of 1 litre),

- basic first aid kit + emergency thermal blanket,

- whistle,

- reserve clothing and footwear.

PUNCHING

Electronic system SPORTident. Price for renting SI-card is €2 per stage. Loss of rented SI-card will be charged €50.

Checkpoints on the course: 

All checkpoints in all categories will be marked with control points (~1m high metal pole with prismatic white-orange flag on it) equipped with SPORTident electronic punching system stations.

NOTE:

If you decide to retire from the race you are obligated to report that in the finish area!

ACCOMODATION

Organizer will provide accommodation in sport hall in Lokve. 

Accommodation in sport hall is available for €5/night for one person. 

For same price it will be possible to camp near sport hall. 

We will enable online booking soon.
